This is a great poem! I love the bit that goes “Does it burn to a touching flame.” I can really imagine all these things clearly in my mind, better then most of the over poems I have read. Maybe next time stick to your theme because at the beginning it was all dark and deep and then it turned to chocolate cookies. A really great poem.
